Post from UAP Ontario Chapter

Here’s an information link from our sponsoring chapter-the UAP Ontario Chapter. We are appreciative of what they have done to make our chapter a reality. Our gratitude to the leadership of UAP Ontario Chapter, particularly to their outgoing President, Architect Flordeliza Laperal UAP, MRAIC, APEC Architect for her unceasing work and support and encouragement extended to our very own Joe Larano, President of UAP BC Chapter.

Some of my Architectural Rendering samples

One Saturday afternoon, I had the chance to open  a folder containing some of architectural renderings I’ve done in the past years. My old rendering include techniques using media as airbrush, Pantone pens, color pencils and crayons and water color. Recent rendering jobs were done in computer modeling and rendering using SketchUp, Kerkythea, Adobe Photoshop, Podium and several other software.

A Taste of Summer a la UAP BC Chapter

To all UAP BC Chapter members,
Now that the NBA season is over and while we are still recuperating from the Vancouver Canucks’ terrible Stanley Cup loss to the Boston Bruins, it’s time to shift our gear and focus to a more interesting and intimate undertaking.
Some of you might have been informed through our UAP BC Facebook of our upcoming membership Family Picnic due to be held on July 9 Saturday starting as early as 9:00AM and onwards at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby. The purpose of the gathering is to bring together all members and their families in a friendly fun setting while enjoying the beauty of the place, foods, games and the joy of bonding and camaraderie. We will also announce in this day our chapter’s Chartering and Officers & Members Induction ceremony in October of this year.
The event is also open to any of your friends who wish to become members of our organization.  So, please start calling them and encourage them to be with us and become members of UAP BC Chapter.
Highlights/Updates from our last officers monthly meeting:
  • Chartering and Officers & Members Induction ceremony (in October). Announcement to be made on our picnic day.
  • We are still accepting new membership registration.
  • In order to effectively function well and better serve the membership, it was approved the leaderships to drop the interim basis and act on a regular capacity.
  • Limited fund-raising to be planned to sustain our programs and activities.
  • UAP BC Chapter to be registered and incorporated as a non profit organization under BC provincial statute and later with federal Canada Revenue Agency.
  • Adopting and proposing other services beneficial to the general membership.
See you all on July 9! Thank you for your support to UAP BC Chapter.
Best regards,
Joe Larano
UAP BC Chapter President
